Teacher Improvement Project

ACA is excited about making improvements to our building that will enhance the teacher experience. The first part of the project is to add a teachers' lounge, additional staff bathrooms, elementary principal office, and additional teacher workspace.

We will be remodeling the kitchen annex and athletic director space to build two additional staff bathrooms and teacher's lounge. Currently, we have one staff bathroom for 55 staff members. Adding an additional bathroom will give our teachers more unisex bathrooms to use during their breaks versus using the restrooms with their students. 

The teachers' lounge will include large cabinets for storage, a commercial grade refrigerator, large countertops for meals or potlucks, and two large moveable tables to allow for meeting spaces as well. Our teachers are thrilled to have a space where they can eat together and have a place to meet. 

We will be taking the current elementary principal office and teacher associate workspace and remodeling it to add an office for our assistant elementary principal and enlarge the workspace for our teacher associates.
