My name is Tricia Nikkel and I am blessed to be a part time 3rd grade Teacher Associate at ACA this year! My husband Dan and I have been married for 10 years and our son, Wyatt, is in 3rd grade, and our daughter, Brooklynn, is in 3 year old preschool at ACA. We love that our children have the opportunity to learn more about God and have amazing godly teachers pouring into them here.
Christian education is a passion of mine and after graduating from Dordt College, I taught at two different christian schools. Then, I took some time away from teaching while I began raising our kids and now I’ve felt God’s call to be a TA at ACA.
I was raised in a christian home and accepted Christ into my heart at a young age, but didn’t fully understand what that meant until I was about 14 years old when I made a public profession of faith in my church. I am always learning how to be more like him and shine brightly so that others might see Christ in me. I enjoy traveling, reading, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.
