Nate Pelletier

My name is Nate Pelletier, and I serve as the Discipleship Director of ACA. My life verses are Philippians 1:20-21 “My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all courage, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

I was born in Illinois and moved to Quebec, Canada in ’94 so my family could begin missionary work. My parents taught us the gospel from a very early age and I remember in the summer of ’97 I knew that I was a sinner in need of a Savior and that Savior is Jesus Christ. I placed my faith in Him and since that day, I know He is my personal Savior. I was baptized the following year.

I was 9 when I knew the Lord wanted me to be a preacher. Since that time my dad trained me and raised me focused on serving the Lord with my life. I went through public school from K-1st, homeschooled 2nd -9th, and went to a Christian school in Vermont for 10th -12th grade. After graduating in 2010, I attended Bob Jones University and received a degree in Youth Ministries and a minor in Coaching. After graduating in 2014, I traveled on an evangelistic team as the Teen Evangelist during the school year of ‘14-‘15 and then served as a counselor at The Wilds of New England during the summers of 2014-16 and 2020.

In the fall of 2016, I was called to be the youth pastor at Hill Village Bible Church and I also coached soccer and basketball at the public middle school and high school and also coached for a AAU program in the fall of ’21 called No Wasted Reps. In the winter of 2021, the Lord led me to move to Iowa in order to pursue a Masters of Theology at Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary. 

I am a member of Community Baptist Church in Ankeny where my wife and I are involved in the youth and music ministry.

I look forward to serving at ACA as the Discipleship Director. I’m excited about seeing students learn and develop in their walk with Christ and consider myself blessed that I get to be a part of that.
