I am excited to serve the Lord in teaching at ACA and bring His Word and His world alive to my students! Because my life verse asks God to show me His ways and teach me His paths in Psalm 25:4-5, I believe that we must constantly look to Him as our source of strength, wisdom, and inspiration. He is the greatest teacher, and I desire to fully worship Him!
I am a wife and mother to four children: Matthew, Andrew, Daniel, and Abigail. We have an amazing golden doodle, River, as well! The Lord has blessed me with such an amazing family!
I have taught many grades here in the States and in the country of Panama, as well as specialized subjects, but my favorite is mathematics. God has ordained and established such beauty in the order of math, so I love when students come to realize this concept! I look forward to what this year will bring!
I grew up in Indiana, but have enjoyed living in Ankeny for 6 years and being a part of a vibrant church community! I love singing on the worship team and digging into God’s Word. I also enjoy being outside with my kids and dog, going on bike rides, camping, traveling, swimming, hiking, growing plants, reading, tutoring, and learning how to play musical instruments.
