I am so grateful to serve alongside the Ankeny Christian Academy faculty and staff as the new assistant elementary principal. My family has lived in Ankeny for over 25 years and we have seen how ACA has grown to where it is today. I am excited to be part of the future of ACA and see where God leads His school.
I have been an educator in various roles for the last 39 years. I have been a classroom teacher, a behavior strategist, college professor, and educational consultant. Throughout all of my years in education I have tried to use the gifts that God has given me to make a difference in the lives of students and fellow teachers. I hope to do the same in my current role here at ACA.
My faith journey started when I was young and God has continued to show up for me and guide me. Each day is a new day to live for Him and give Him glory. A favorite scripture is Psalm 5:11, “But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.”
My husband, Scott, and I have three grown children and three grandchildren. We attend Keystone Church of Ankeny. I ask God daily for guidance in how I can make an impact for Him in my life. I look forward to how He will move here at ACA in the future.
