I have spent my career in marketing and communications. My expertise lies in communications, branding, social media, media relations and storytelling. I have a masters’ degree in healthcare administration from Des Moines University and a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and journalism from Calvin University. I am a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, the Ankeny Leadership Institute, and the Iowa Hospital Association Leadership Program. I have led initiatives that have resulted in local, state, and national designations and awards from her time at On With Life and Dallas County Hospital. I have served on and chaired multiple boards, including the Ankeny School Foundation and nationally recognized women’s leadership and advancement program, LEAP, which won the ACCE National Chamber of the Year award in 2019.
My husband, Jared, and I have two children who attend ACA and Westview Church. As a parent, I have been a part of Parent Teacher Fellowship committee, managing ACA’s social media accounts, and helping with the annual ACA Gala.
