I am overjoyed to be teaching Art. God is so good! We have two daughters that attend ACA.
I grew up in a Christian home. At the age of three, I accepted Christ as my Savior with my grandma as my mentor and guide. From my grandma I learned to find joy in the smallest things, at the hardest times, even with having very little. God is faithful and His love for us is unchanging! I graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College and I am licensed to teach in Iowa. I have subbed and taught English and Art over the years.
I continue daily to learn and grow in my walk with the Lord. He has shown time and time again His faithfulness in His plan for my life. It was in high school that I felt called to become a teacher when I was a T.A. for the Art teacher. Fast forward to now, it amazes me how God moved me to ACA to teach art. How awesome He is!
My life verses since high school have been 1 Peter 3:14-17 and Psalm 27 in my adult years. Every day is a gift and another chance to worship a truly incredible God.
Art is a wonderful way to praise the creator of the universe. God was the first artist! It is a great honor to serve Him by teaching art at ACA.
