My name is Jeanine Eppens, and I teach fourth and fifth grade math and science. I feel very blessed to be teaching in a school whose center is the Lord Jesus Christ!
I grew up in a Christian home and accepted the Lord as my Savior when I was eleven. I attended the University of Northern Iowa receiving my BA in elementary education with a reading endorsement. After graduating, I substituted for a year and was hired to teach Title I reading and math, and then I taught third grade. The Lord then called me home to raise my children which included homeschooling for ten years. I substitute taught for another year before being hired to teach here at ACA.
I am the mother of three wonderful daughters and feel God’s blessing every time I look at them. God has carried me through all the highs and lows of my life. “I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch. I will watch with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation. He will hear me.” (Micah 7:7). Life is an adventure with him, and I look forward to being a part of all the blessings he has in store for ACA this year.
