What will happen at Kindergarten Round-Up?
Our early elementary faculty will evaluate each student in an effort to determine which of our programs will best meet the child’s need. Evaluations will take place in a group setting from 9:00-11:00 a.m. There will be fun activities to go along with the assessment, your child will most likely want to start school right away!
How will I be notified of my child’s assessment results?
In approximately two weeks, each family will receive a letter with an official Kindergarten or Begindergarten recommendation for their student. An individual assessment may be needed and will be indicated in the letter. It is our goal that children receive the placement that allows for maximum success and growth!
What happens after we receive the official recommendation letter?
It’s time to enroll! Please fill out all paperwork in the enrollment packet and drop it off at the ACA office. All new-to-ACA families will need to schedule a meeting with our elementary principal, Joyce Hansen. This can be done by contacting our office and setting up a time that works in your schedule.
