Elementary chapel is 10:20 am-10:50 am, secondary chapel is 11:01 am-11:48 am and & primary chapel is 12:15 pm-12:45 pm.
In primary chapel Miss Hult asked us the question, “Why did Jesus have to die?” She opened the Bible to Ephesians 2:13 for the answer- “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Jesus had to die in order for us to live! We saw a small butterfly garden with cocoons in it. Miss Hult explained that just like a caterpillar is completely changed from its original state, so we are when our sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus!
Dr. Robinson delivered the message for the final elementary chapel of this school year. He commented that it has been a good year and listed some of the service projects in which students have participated over the past nine months. He used Philippians 1:6 as an opening Scripture, which reads, “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Dr. Robinson reminded us that the Lord wants us to have a good life, not only during the summer months, but for LIFE! He closed his message by giving us another Bible passage, found in Numbers 6:22-27, which has been a blessing at the end of many a church service. The main part of that passage is, “The Lord Bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” What a wonderful blessing for our last chapel of this school year! Thank you, Dr. Robinson!
