Project Serve
Thank you for your support!
What is Project Serve?
ACA’s Project Serve is an event in which students, staff, and families serve our community. This supports ACA’s mission of building Christian character by instilling in our students a strong sense of their roles in the community, church, and family.
As students go out into the community to serve, they are also inviting friends and family to support ACA’s Annual Fund, to advance the school’s mission.
Serving Others
As we raise funds for our school, our students, staff, and faculty will serve others in our community and various ministries throughout February and March. A few of these service activities include:
- A Meals from the Heartland meal packing event
- Special projects in elementary classrooms serving various ministries
- Community Service day
Supporting Project Serve
All funds raised through Project Serve go to the ACA Annual Fund to benefit our school! Join us by supporting our efforts!
For questions, please reach out to Hans Hoeksema, Advancement Director (hans.hoeksema@acaeagles.net) or Lori Blake, Advancement Coordinator (lori.blake@acaeagles.net).
Transportation Reimbursement
Families with Kindergarten through 12th grade students may receive a transportation reimbursement check depending on how far you live from the school. If families of 9th- 12th grade students travel more than 2 miles one way to school and if families of Kindergarten (not Begindergarten) through 8th grades travel more than 2 miles one way to school, then complete the reimbursement form. This form needs to be turned into your resident school district, not ACA. Due date for spring semester is May 1.

Planned Absences & Appointments
Please notify the office by 8:00 am when your child will need to leave early or come late due to an appointment or if they are absent due to an illness. The office will then let the teachers know of your child’s absence (feel free to notify your child’s teacher especially if you would like to discuss homework, but always notify the office). If you plan to have your child gone for more than a day for a planned absence, please fill out the Elementary Planned Absence Form (grades 1-5) or the Prearranged Student Absent form (grades 6-12). For sports or school/field trip related absences, students grades 6-12 should use the Prearranged Absence Form Field Trips/Sports.
Thank you!
