Mr. Dave Gascho
My name is Dave Gascho. Prior to coming to ACA in 2013, my wife and I moved from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where I spent 15 years teaching at Isaac Newton Christian Academy. There I taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th grades, and resource room which included teaching junior high algebra.
I earned my BA in elementary education from Mount Mercy College (now University) in Cedar Rapids, with endorsements in reading and language. I also have taught driver’s education both in Cedar Rapids and in Ankeny.
My wife, Mindi, and I have been married for over 30 years. We are the proud parents of daughter, Morgan, and son, Ethan. We are truly blessed to have a son and daughter that are following the Lord’s leading in their lives!
I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior as a young adult. I am continually seeking His will for my life. The following verses give me great assurance of my salvation – 1 John 5:11-13, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son, has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you, so that you may know that you have eternal life.” I desire that every ACA student will see a reflection of Christ in me, and that they will develop a lasting relationship with Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I feel so blessed to be a part of the ACA team!
