I am honored to be a part of Ankeny Christian Academy. Prior to coming to ACA, I spent several years in a large public company. It was there that I felt God calling me into an organization that impacted people’s lives for Christ and ACA became the likely choice.
I accepted Jesus as my Savior at an Evangelistic Revival when I was seven. As I grew, I was active in my church’s youth group and was a church organist. After high school, I attended a Christian college from which I graduated with a B.A. in Accounting. Since my move to Des Moines, I have seen God at work in my life over the years. I met my husband at a church we were attending in the Des Moines area and have continued to serve together where God leads us. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters who have experienced the joy of being a part of ACA.
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This continues to remind me that God is in control and He will carry me through all of life’s situations when I continue to seek His will.
