Mrs. Abby Bogaards
Abby Bogaards has spent her career in marketing and communications, working the last eight years as the Public Relations and Brand Manager at On With Life. Her expertise lies in communications, branding, social media, media relations and storytelling. Abby holds a masters’ degree in healthcare administration from Des Moines University and a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and journalism from Calvin University and is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, the Ankeny Leadership Institute, and the Iowa Hospital Association Leadership Program. She has led initiatives that have resulted in local, state, and national designations and awards from her time at Dallas County Hospital and On With Life. She has served on and chaired multiple boards, including the Ankeny School Foundation and nationally recognized women’s leadership and advancement program, LEAP, which won the ACCE National Chamber of the Year award in 2019.
Abby and her husband, Jared, have two children who attend ACA. She has volunteered her time over the past few years to ACA helping with the Parent Teacher Fellowship committee, managing ACA’s social media accounts, and helping with the annual ACA Gala. As a family, they attend Westview Church.
